Responsibilities:
As a Tech Recruiter, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Identify and engage prospective clients in the tech industry, nurturing long-lasting relationships and expanding our client base.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with current clients, ensuring their technical staffing needs are met with the highest level of satisfaction.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for technical roles, encompassing sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placement.
- Prepare candidates thoroughly for technical assessments and interviews with clients.
- Harness diverse platforms and tools to pinpoint top technical talent and maintain a robust candidate pipeline.
- Assess candidates' technical competencies, soft skills, experience, and suitability for specific roles.
- Manage recruitment-related administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Cultivate talent pipelines comprising skilled front-end developers, back-end developers, and agile scrum teams for future opportunities.
- Oversee a portfolio of technical clients, fostering strong rapport and delivering exceptional service.
- Keep clients informed on hiring progress and candidate statuses throughout the recruitment process.
- Actively network and engage in technical events to nurture existing connections and forge new partnerships within the tech community.
- Stay updated on tech industry trends and market dynamics to inform recruitment strategies and business growth initiatives.
You'll have complete responsibility for various roles, including:
Development and Engineering Roles:
- Front-end developers
- Back-end developers
- Full-stack developers
- DevOps engineers
- Software engineers
- Data engineers
Data and Security Roles:
- Data scientists
- Cybersecurity specialists
Design, Management, and Quality Roles:
- Systems administrators
- UX/UI designers
- Product managers
Requirements:
- Proven experience in tech recruitment with a thriving network of clients and candidates in the tech sector.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, particularly within technical contexts.
- Ability to thrive autonomously while collaborating effectively within a fast-paced, startup environment.
- Familiarity with recruitment tools such as TeamTailor is advantageous.
- The tech recruiter will leverage a variety of sourcing methods, including platforms such as LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, event websites, meet-ups and collaborations with university career services and alumni networks, to identify and engage with qualified candidates for tech roles.
