Frontend Developer

Our client is looking for a skilled and experienced Frontend Developer to join their dynamic technology team. This role focuses on creating exceptional front-end experiences for casino games, using extensive game development experience and strong JavaScript skills. As a key member of a cross-functional agile team, you will be instrumental in crafting high-quality code that enriches products with intuitive and engaging gameplay. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining our client's reputation for outstanding quality and meticulous attention to detail, leveraging the latest advancements in mobile and browser technologies.

Responsibilities:

As a Frontend Developer, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Contributing to the development of exceptional front-end experiences for games.
• Leveraging hands-on game development experience and strong JavaScript skills to build high-quality code.
• Collaborating within a cross-functional agile team to enhance products with intuitive and engaging gameplay.
• Shaping products to uphold our client's reputation for superb quality and meticulous attention to detail.
• Utilising expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript to implement solutions.
• Applying Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and Design Patterns to maintain clean, maintainable code.
• Demonstrating a strong eye for detail and creating elegant, smooth visual effects.
• Communicating effectively in English to articulate ideas and collaborate with team members.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in JavaScript and Typescript
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Design Patterns
• Strong eye for detail and flair for elegant, smooth visual effects
• Background in game development, visually rich applications, or the advertisement industry
• Experience with any Version Control System (e.g., Git, SVN, Perforce, or Mercurial)
• Familiarity with another Object-Oriented language
• Knowledge of PIXI.js
• Familiarity with Git and feature branching workflows
• Understanding of Canvas or WebGL
• Proficiency in Unit Testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Basic knowledge of modern HTML and CSS
