Head of Analytics

On behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the iGaming industry, we are seeking a talented Head of Analytics to lead their data-driven initiatives. This critical role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep industry expertise, a proven ability to optimise traffic sources, and a track record of delivering actionable insights that drive business performance. Reporting directly to the COO, the successful candidate will shape the company’s data strategy, build a high-performing analytics team, and ensure data is central to decision-making across the organisation.

As the Head of Analytics, you will lead a team of analysts and collaborate closely with marketing, product, and operations teams. This role encompasses analysing traffic sources, player behaviour, and marketing ROI, while also focusing on predictive modelling, customer segmentation, churn analysis, and other critical analytics functions. You will drive the creation of advanced analytics tools and reporting dashboards to support strategic growth and optimise business performance.

Responsibilities:

As Head of Analytics, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Analyse and optimise acquisition channels, including SEO, PPC, and affiliates, to maximise efficiency.
• Deliver insights into user acquisition trends, behaviours, and funnel performance across multiple traffic sources.
• Evaluate ROI and player lifetime value to identify high-value channels and optimise campaigns effectively.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of skilled analysts to meet organisational data needs.
• Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the team.
  Oversee professional development, including training and performance management, to maintain high standards.
• Develop real-time dashboards to monitor critical KPIs such as conversion rates, player retention, and marketing ROI.
• Present regular performance reports to senior management with actionable recommendations for growth and optimisation.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of player behaviour and trends to identify opportunities for enhanced retention and revenue.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams to design and implement data-driven strategies.
• Utilise predictive modelling to forecast future trends and inform long-term strategies.
• Oversee the company’s data warehouse and analytics infrastructure to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to maintain high standards in data processes.
• Recommend and implement advanced analytics tools and technologies to enhance efficiency.
• Uphold data privacy regulations, including GDPR, and implement best practices in data governance.
• Ensure data security, accuracy, and integrity across all platforms and processes.

Requirements:

• At least 5+ years in analytics, with a minimum of 3 years in the iGaming industry.
  Strong background in data analysis, traffic optimisation, and understanding user behaviour.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Google Analytics, SQL, Python, or similar platforms.
• Proven ability to build, lead, and manage high-performing analytics teams.
• Excellent skills in presenting complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Expertise in business intelligence platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and forecasting techniques.
