Our client is an innovative iGaming company with multiple divisions, combining a cutting-edge media agency and a thriving online casino operation. The media agency specialises in digital marketing and lead generation, with expertise in SEO, pay-per-click advertising, social media marketing, and website design, delivering tailored strategies that drive success in the iGaming sector. In parallel, the company operates its own successful online casino brands, leveraging their deep industry knowledge to create engaging platforms and exceptional user experiences. This unique combination of services positions the company as a leader in both marketing innovation and brand management within the competitive iGaming industry.
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR and Office Manager to support the Malta office and its employees. This is a pivotal role focused on ensuring a smooth and compliant work environment, fostering an excellent employee experience, and maintaining efficient office operations. The ideal candidate will bring a hands-on approach, with a mix of HR expertise and office management skills, to support the company’s growth and culture.
Location: Malta, Sliema.
Responsibilities:
As HR & Office Manager, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
HR Functions:
- Administer employee benefits, including health insurance and team-building activities, to create an exceptional employee experience throughout their lifecycle.
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes while maintaining accurate records for employee engagement and compliance.
- Serve as the primary contact for staff leave requests and ensure accurate tracking using HR systems.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date with legislation and aligned with industry best practices.
- Organise office social events to foster a positive and cohesive company culture.
Office Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the Malta office, including supplier relationships, equipment requests, and maintaining a comfortable and efficient workspace.
- Act as the first point of contact for office-related queries and external visitors.
- Ensure compliance with Malta’s work environment regulations, including documentation, safety procedures, and occupational health services.
- Manage reception services, including phone call handling, post distribution, and greeting visitors.
- Coordinate office maintenance, health and safety, and fire regulation compliance.
- Assist the finance team with employee-related administration and accurate payroll inputs.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar HR or office management role.
- Knowledge of HR management, policies, and employee benefits administration.
- Familiarity with Malta's employment regulations is highly beneficial.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and autonomous approach with a process improvement mindset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trusted relationships at all levels.
- A team player with a practical and proactive mindset.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
