Our client is an innovative iGaming company with multiple divisions, combining a cutting-edge media agency and a thriving online casino operation. The media agency specialises in digital marketing and lead generation, with expertise in SEO, pay-per-click advertising, social media marketing, and website design, delivering tailored strategies that drive success in the iGaming sector. In parallel, the company operates its own successful online casino brands, leveraging their deep industry knowledge to create engaging platforms and exceptional user experiences. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Marketing to lead and optimise the affiliate and performance marketing team. This pivotal role requires a dynamic leader to oversee performance channels, maximise conversion rates, and ensure marketing strategies align with the company’s broader goals across its media and casino brands.
Location: Hybrid / Remote; Malta
Responsibilities:
As Director of Marketing, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Leadership and Strategy: Lead teams specialising in PPC, SEO, Affiliates, Programmatic/Ad Ops, Paid Social, and Marketing Platforms. Develop and execute performance marketing strategies that align with company objectives, focusing on funnel conversions, efficiency, and ROI.
- Affiliate Marketing: Oversee the affiliate marketing strategy, managing relationships to maximise revenue and ROI. Set KPIs, deliver performance reports, and ensure seamless integration with the broader marketing mix. Foster innovation through test-and-learn campaigns and develop an annual affiliate marketing calendar.

Resource Allocation: Optimise resource allocation across performance channels to convert brand/category interest into first purchases and retention.
Campaign Analysis: Analyse campaign performance data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimisation. Prepare regular reports and presentations for stakeholders. - Industry Insight: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in performance marketing, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of innovation.
- Revenue Opportunities: Identify and execute strategic sales and revenue opportunities across the portfolio, working iteratively to enhance the user journey from acquisition to retention.
- Team Leadership: Inspire and motivate teams, fostering a high-performance culture. Provide guidance to performance marketing teams, ensuring efficient delivery for both acquisition and branding objectives.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in affiliate marketing or performance marketing, preferably in the iGaming industry.
- Direct experience in at least two of the following areas: PPC, SEO, Paid Social, Programmatic/Ad Ops, or Affiliates.
- Agency experience is essential.
- Proven leadership abilities, with the capability to inspire and manage teams in a high-performance environment.
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset.
- Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Proficient in leveraging technology to enhance marketing outcomes.
