Chief Commercial Officer
Our client is a leading iGaming group with a portfolio of successful international brands. They are seeking a Chief Commercial Officer to take full ownership of global commercial performance, managing a multi-million-euro budget and driving growth across all markets through high-performing commercial and marketing teams.
This is a senior executive role with ultimate responsibility for global P&L, revenue delivery, forecasting, and the optimisation of associated budgets and costs. Working closely with the CEO and wider C-suite, the CCO will define and execute commercial strategies that align with the directives of the Board, ensuring sustainable growth and operational excellence.
Location: Malta, hybrid working model
Travel: Occasional international travel for market expansion, partner engagement, conferences, and media representation
Responsibilities:
As Chief Commercial Officer, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Strategic Leadership & P&L Ownership
- Take full ownership of the global P&L across all brands, managing revenues, costs, and overall profitability.
- Define, measure, and optimise key success factors, translating them into clear OKRs that drive and incentivise performance across the business.
- Collaborate with the C-suite to design and implement global strategies that deliver Board directives.
Core Commercial Strategies
- Lead market entry and exit decisions, strengthen market presence, and increase market share.
- Allocate and optimise marketing budgets to maximise FTDs and ROI.
- Drive customer lifetime value through effective retention and reactivation strategies.
- Ensure optimal product-to-market fit, working closely with product teams to deliver competitive, engaging offerings.
- Oversee delivery of outstanding customer service, ensuring operational excellence.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead large, cross-functional commercial and marketing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
- Ensure all team members have the tools, resources, and environment to excel in their roles.
- Act as a role model and promote continuous professional development across the organisation.
External Representation
- Serve as a senior representative of the company at conferences, industry events, and in media engagements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners, regulators, and other key stakeholders.
Requirements:

- Strategic thinker with the ability to maintain focus on long-term goals.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years at C-level and 5+ years in senior commercial leadership roles within iGaming.
- In-depth understanding of the gaming ecosystem, associated KPIs, and commercial levers.
- Proven track record in revenue forecasting, modelling, and delivering commercial growth.
- Demonstrated success in leading large, multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to extract and interpret complex data for decision-making.
