Chief Executive Officer
Our client is a high performing iGaming platform provider with proprietary technology and an international delivery organisation across Stockholm, the Philippines, and Spain. With proven traction in crypto and Asia, and a clear roadmap for expansion into new markets, the company is scaling its platform and investing in new product initiatives, including a game studio build out and gamification plugins.
As the business enters a more demanding stage of growth, the focus is on strengthening operating maturity and delivery cadence without losing the pace, innovation, and entrepreneurial ownership that has driven success to date. To support this next phase, our client is hiring a Chief Executive Officer to sharpen strategic focus, align the organisation behind clear priorities, and lead international expansion with consistent, measurable execution.
Location: Stockholm, Sweden (relocation required)
Working model: On site with flexibility as appropriate
Travel: Minimum four weeks international travel per year, with potential for more
Reporting line: Board of Directors
The opportunity:
This is a highly visible leadership role for a CEO who is genuinely product led and comfortable operating close to technology and delivery. You will lead an established senior management team including a Chief Commercial Officer, Head of Development, and Chief Product Officer, and you will be responsible for hiring a new Chief Financial Officer.
The mandate is clear: scale the platform and organisation for the next stage of growth, diversify the product portfolio, and expand geographically, while reinforcing a product first culture across every function.
Responsibilities:
As Chief Executive Officer, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Strategy and growth leadership
- Define, articulate, and execute a clear multi year strategy aligned to the company’s growth ambitions.
- Strengthen existing revenue streams while identifying and delivering new commercial opportunities.
- Anticipate industry trends and convert emerging opportunities into measurable initiatives across crypto, Asia, Latin America, and Africa.
- Own prioritisation across product, commercial, and operational workstreams to ensure focus and delivery.
Product and technology leadership
- Champion a product first approach across the organisation, ensuring decisions are grounded in customer value and product quality.
- Engage in detailed product and technical discussions with development teams to understand constraints, trade offs, and scaling needs.
- Drive scalable development and IT practices that support rapid growth, stability, and security.
Data led execution
- Use performance, product usage, customer behaviour, and market insights to guide decisions and measure success.
- Embed a data led culture, with clear goals, accountability, and feedback loops across teams.
Organisational leadership and culture
- Lead and motivate an international organisation of approximately 50 people across multiple geographies.
- Maintain entrepreneurial pace while introducing the structure and clarity required for sustainable scale.
- Set clear direction, roadmaps, and communication rhythms that keep teams aligned and energised.
- Strengthen leadership capability across the management team and recruit a new CFO.
External representation and market positioning
- Represent the company at industry events and in relevant media opportunities.
- Strengthen the brand’s positioning and thought leadership, particularly in crypto enabled gaming and high growth markets.
- Build credibility with partners and customers through consistent messaging and executive presence.
What success looks like in the first 12 to 18 months
- A clear, communicated strategy with prioritised initiatives and measurable outcomes.
- Improved organisational alignment and execution speed across product, commercial, and delivery teams.
- Strong progress in customer portfolio expansion, with traction in targeted emerging markets.
- Scalable internal structures that protect innovation and pace while reducing operational risk.
- A high performing leadership team in place, including a newly hired CFO.
Requirements:
- Proven senior leadership experience in iGaming, with B2B platform exposure strongly preferred.
- Product driven mindset, with genuine interest in product development and innovation.
- Technical fluency, able to operate credibly in discussions with software, IT, and development teams.
- Strong analytical capability and a track record of data led decision making.
- Hands on leadership style, comfortable going deep into product and operational details when required.
- Experience leading a scale up environment, typically 30 to 200 employees, through rapid growth.
- Fluent in Swedish and English.
Advantageous experience
- Exposure to crypto or blockchain enabled applications in gaming or fintech.
- Experience across emerging markets, particularly Asia, Latin America, or Africa.
- Strong public presence and confidence representing a company at events and with press.
