Technical Compliance Specialist
Our client, a large international leader in the iGaming industry, is hiring a Technical Compliance Specialist to support technology and product teams in delivering compliant solutions across multiple regulated jurisdictions. This role sits at the intersection of technology and compliance, working across a variety of products and markets to ensure alignment with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines.
Reporting to the Senior Technical Compliance Specialist, you will work closely with teams across the business and be exposed to a broad range of technical and regulatory requirements spanning the iGaming sector.
Location: Hybrid, Malta
Responsibilities:
As Technical Compliance Specialist, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Deliver regulatory requirements to Product and Tech teams, and review designs against compliance expectations.
Maintain strong ownership of product compliance requirements for regulated markets, ensuring internal tools are kept up to date with the latest applicable versions of requirements.
Provide interpretation and guidance on compliance requirements to support delivery teams.
Contribute to promoting a strong compliance culture across the organisation.
Be highly involved in technical audit activities.
Support and closely cooperate with the wider Legal and Compliance teams to address findings and incidents.
Contribute to improving and consolidating the overall compliance posture of the business.
Support internal teams with responses to technical compliance queries.
Monitor and assess changing requirements across new and existing markets, ensuring timely analysis and communication.
Requirements:
At least 2 years of relevant experience in compliance or product technology within the online gambling industry.
Understanding of remote gambling legislation.
Strong understanding of the iGaming industry and the role compliance plays in shaping technical requirements.
Nice to have:
Understanding of Agile methodology, project management, or change management.
Previous experience using the Atlassian suite.
