TalentXD is partnering with a well-established international iGaming company to appoint a Talent Acquisition Manager based in Malta.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition professional who enjoys leading recruitment teams, partnering with senior stakeholders, and building scalable hiring processes in a fast-paced international environment.
The successful candidate will take ownership of the Talent Acquisition function, ensuring the business continues to attract exceptional talent while driving recruitment quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across multiple markets.
The Role:
As Talent Acquisition Manager, you will lead the Talent Acquisition function, managing both recruitment delivery and the ongoing development of recruitment processes, hiring standards, and team performance.
This role requires someone who is comfortable balancing strategic thinking with operational execution. While you won't be afraid to get involved in recruitment when required, your primary focus will be leading through others, improving processes, and ensuring consistent hiring quality across the business.
Experience recruiting within the iGaming industry, particularly across Nordic markets will be highly advantageous.
Location: Malta (Hybrid working, with 2–3 days per week in the office)
Responsibilities:
As Talent Acquisition Manager, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Talent Acquisition Leadership
Lead and develop the Talent Acquisition function, ensuring high-quality recruitment delivery across the business.
Manage, coach and support recruiters to maximise performance and consistency.
Establish clear recruitment standards, processes and best practices.
Act as the escalation point for business-critical or complex hiring requirements.
Recruitment Strategy & Delivery
Develop and execute Talent Acquisition strategies aligned with business growth plans.
Partner with hiring managers to understand current and future hiring needs.
Build proactive talent pipelines across commercial, product, technical and corporate functions.
Support recruitment delivery where required, particularly for key or senior hires.
Stakeholder Management
Build strong relationships with business leaders and hiring managers.
Provide market intelligence, salary benchmarking and hiring advice.
Influence recruitment decisions through data and industry insights.
Ensure recruitment priorities remain aligned with business objectives.
Candidate Experience & Employer Brand
Deliver an outstanding candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Work closely with People teams to ensure a smooth transition from offer acceptance through onboarding.
Promote inclusive hiring practices and strengthen the employer brand across international markets.
Process Improvement & Reporting
Continuously improve recruitment processes, systems and ways of working.
Monitor recruitment KPIs including time-to-hire, quality of hire, pipeline health and hiring manager satisfaction.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency and overall hiring performance.
Produce regular recruitment reports and insights for senior leadership.
Requirements:
We're looking for someone who combines strong recruitment expertise with leadership capability and a genuine passion for developing high-performing Talent Acquisition teams.
You'll ideally bring:
Proven experience leading Talent Acquisition within an international iGaming business.
Strong knowledge of recruiting across Nordic markets (highly desirable).
Previous experience managing or mentoring recruiters and leading through others.
A hands-on approach with the willingness to support recruitment delivery when required.
Experience improving recruitment processes and implementing best practices.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A data-driven mindset with experience using recruitment metrics to drive performance.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
